Collaborative Internship Opportunities
HarborArts is working to set up internship opportunities with local art schools and colleges, whereby students may help the HarborArts' creative team design and build monumental sculptures and other art projects at Boston Harbor Shipyard. Art students will also have the opportunity to help design exhibitions for display at special events.
HarborArts is setting up internship opportunities with college students majoring in education. They can develop and implement environmental education lesson plans with participating schools that have partnered with HarborArts and its mission. Lesson plans will require a hands- on approach for students that include art, science, humanities, drama, and math collaboration. Materials used will be primarily recycled products.
Other internship opportunities will involve event planning and management.
Volunteer Opportunities
HarborArts welcomes volunteers to help us with our mission. Opportunities may include on site assistance at our special events, community outreach, and help with our administration.
